Maren du Plessis (cello), Carel Henn (cello), Kerryn Wisniewski (piano)Gauteng musicians Carel Henn, Maren Du Plessis and Kerryn Wisniewski will team together to form a unique chamber music combination of 2 Cellos and Piano. This combination creates a platform with a rich and warm soundscape to create some of the most beautiful works for two cellos. Some original compositions like Vivaldi’s Concerto for 2 Cello’s, Handel’s Sonata in g minor and Piatti’s Serenade will be presented. A very exciting duo by Barriere is seldom heard and will be combined with arrangements of compositions by Shostakovich and Joseph Werner. This trio of musicians have been performing together in various performances for more than 10 years, forming a bond of close musicianship of high technical and musical standards.
