Please note that Volksrust is a shorter drive away from Wakkerstroom than East Gate is from Sandton.
The scenary is more beautiful and the road surface has been improved considerably.
Accommodation in the village is available at the many charming bed and breakfasts, self-catering establishments and at the hotel. The accommodation is limited in the village itself, so have a look in Volksrust and Balele for more accommodation (25km from Wakkerstroom).
