This period highlighted the unique musical personalities of composer-pianists and violinists by translating their characters into their compositions. These works, often also known as transcriptions (arrangements for their instrument of other composer&#8217;s works), came to feature as encore pieces after a recital \u2013 a musical way of thanking the audience for their support. Camelia will present Kreisler&#8217;s Rondo and Spanish Dance, Massenet&#8217;s Meditation, and Monti&#8217;s Czardas, amongst others.
